How do I enable two-factor authentication for logging in?

Add another layer of security to your account by enabling two-factor authentication. Every time you sign in, we’ll ask you for a code from an authenticator app.

Two-factor authentication will be applied to all the accounts you access with your ID. You’ll also be prompted for a code on mobile devices.

Set Up

1. Click Login & Security in the Launchpad.

2. On the next page, click on “Set up 2FA” and follow the on-screen prompts. Be sure to save your recovery codes somewhere safe! You’ll need those codes to access the account if you ever lose the ability to log in with your authenticator app.

How do I link my account with third-party products or RSS feed readers that integrate with 37signals products?

You’ll need to use your authentication token for feed readers and third-party products. (Tokens are codes you can type into certain products to allow the products to access your data. Be careful with your tokens — anyone who has your tokens can access your data.)

You can find the token on your My Info page of the product you want to access. Scroll to the bottom and click on the link that says “Show your tokens.” One token will give you access to that product’s API, the other can be used with feed readers.
